Greater Atlanta Tamil Sangam (GATS) Waiver Policy (Please read carefully)
In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in GATS related events and activities, the coordinators/participants:

Acknowledge and fully understand that each member/participant will be engaging in activities that may involve risk of serious injury, including permanent disability, paralysis and death, and severe social and economic losses which might result not only from their own actions, inactions, or negligence but the action, inaction negligence or others, or the condition of the premises or any equipment used. Further, that there may be other risks not known or not reasonably foreseeable at this time.

Assume all the foregoing risks and accept personal responsibility for the damages following such injury, permanent disability, paralysis or death.

Indemnify the Greater Atlanta Tamil Sangam (GATS) its affiliated clubs, their respective administrators, officers, directors, agents, and other employees of the organization, other members/participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors or premises used to conduct the event, all of which are hereinafter referred as to “releases”, from any and all liability, his or her heirs and next of kin for any and all claims, demands, losses or damages on account of injury, paralysis, including death and damage of property, caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the releases or otherwise.
Program Rules (Please read carefully)

The Program Coordinator shall be responsible for explaining the above waiver to all adult participants (18 years or older) in their team.

The Program Coordinator shall be responsible for explaining the above waiver to parents or legal guardians of the participants (who are younger than 18 years of age) in their team.

By participating in the GATS events, coordinators and participants acknowledge and agree to all waivers and program rules mentioned in this document.

There is a minimum of $10 program fee for each participant who is not a current member of the Sangam. Program fee is not refundable. Please make checks payable to GATS.

The Program Coordinator shall be responsible for collecting the dues from non-members in advance and handover this form and the monies, if any, to the organizing committee of the Sangam, otherwise such non-members shall not be allowed to participate in the program.

The Program Coordinator shall be responsible for organizing their team to be available back-stage, at least 15 minutes before the start of their program, with all their props, equipments, instruments, skits etc. Failure to do so may result in delay or postponement or even cancellation of such program.

Program duration shall not exceed the maximum duration of 20 minutes unless it is pre-approved by the organizing committee. GATS reserve the right to trim/abort such programs exceeding the time limit.

GATS cannot guarantee the exact start time of the program which may differ due to various reasons.

The Sangam shall not be held liable for any disruptions, interruptions or equipment failures during the program.

The Sangam shall take all the best efforts possible, in conducting all programs to the highest level of quality. However, unforeseeable situations may force the Sangam to trim or abort or delay or cancel certain programs. GATS reserve the right for its actions under such unexpected circumstances and GATS shall not be held liable for such actions.
Acceptance
I have read and understood all the waivers and program rules. By participating in GATS event and activities, I hereby acknowledge and accept all of waivers and program rules detailed above.
